Braving the turbulent circumstances of a global pandemic, while applying all the health measures and taking all mandatory precautions, the International Meeting of “Dromia” was materialised on July 15th.
For a third consecutive year, the non-profit society “Kallisti” proudly supported the “Dromia” Institution, which has now become an International Track and Field Meeting.
This year renowned athletes from Cyprus as well as the Balkans participated, despite all the complications due to covid19 .
Making the athletes health our utmost priority, the relay race had to be cancelled.

The Athens International Children’s Film Festival returns for its 2nd edition, richer, more exciting and expanded. The grand celebration for all children and their families, it provides entertainment, creativity, communication, community spirit and education lasts from 18 to 24 November at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall and Danaos Cinema.
This year Kallisti Non Profit Society is the Grand Sponsor of the Festival. More specific, Kallisti supports an educational field-trip for children from remote regions of Greece. Students from the 5th and 6th grade at the primary schools of Arki and Pramanta and their guardians will be hosted for four days in Athens, to watch the Festival premiere at the SOS Children’s Village in Vari, the full screening programme and the Festival workshops. They will also be taking a tour of the Acropolis ruins and the Acropolis Museum.

On the 20th of July, at the “K. Baglatzis” stadium in Vari, more than 250 national as well as international athletes gathered up in order to participate in the Dromia 2019 sports event, organized by Dromeas Sport Society.

On June 7th, 2019, the first and largest boxing event takes place in Greece - Friday Boxing Fight Night by Stoiximan- during which Stylianos Papadopoulos scores his 12th win, this time beating Volodimir Chortienko.

The Department of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics of Mykonos was selected to represent our country in the World Championship of Aesthetic Gymnastics held in Helsinki from 18 to 22 November 2021.
60 countries and more than 10,000 athletes participated in the event.
The mission consisted of 25 athletes, 3 coaches, an escort and an international judge. The team was also accompanied by Marie Claire, digital editor-in-chief Evita Tsilochristou for the journalistic coverage.

After 16 months of lockdown due to the covid-19 pandemic, on June 4-6, 2021 the Windsurfing Cup 3V 2021 – the first international windsurfing race- took place in Megalo Kavouri. The race was organized by the Windsurfing 3B Sports Club, where a total of 62 athletes participated from 10 nautical clubs, aged 7 to 62 years.
The Kallisti Non-Profit Society ensured the live coverage of the event via YouTube. It was the first time in Greece’s sailing history that parents as well as the public had constant visual access to a race through live streaming.

Deree – The American College of Greece is proud to announce a new collaboration with The Kallisti Non-Profit Society. The Society will provide a full-tuition Scholarship opportunity for a promising young student who wishes to study Music/Music Performance at Deree and will be available from the Fall 2021 academic year to 2024.
Established in 1989, the Music program is focused on the academic study of music integrated with a creative approach to contemporary performance practices. Lesvos Solidarity, a non-governmental organization, was formed in 2012 and is based in the island of Lesvos. Ever since, Lesvos Solidarity provides an ongoing humanitarian support to the locals as well as the refugee population arriving to the island. The physical and mental state of the people as well as their family status are the defining points for receiving the support provided.
In recent years, the organization has also developed integration and education programs for refugees and the local community such as language courses and artistic psychosocial support workshops. These activities take place at the PIKPA (refugee housing area), the Mosaik Support Center, where free activities for promoting inclusion are offered as well as educational courses for children and adults, and lastly the "Asklipios" clinic, where psychosocial support is provided.
In 2016, the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR, honoured the heroic efforts of Greek volunteers during the 2015 refugee crisis on the island of Lesvos by giving its Nansen Refugee Award to Efi Latsoudi, Human Rights activist and core team member of Lesvos Solidarity.

The Athens International Children’s Film Festival aims to support and promote creative film production for children, teenagers and their families around the world.
The festival promises to entertain and move young audiences, offering a rich, interesting and fun screening programme. It takes place annually at the beginning of winter over the course of a 3-day weekend, during which we invite families to explore the world without needing to leave Athens.
The 1st Athens International Children’s Film Festival took place on December 7, 8 & 9, 2018. The programme was comprised of 75 short and feature-length films, fiction and documentary, for children and teens aged 3 to 18 years old, originating from over 30 different countries and in over 22 different languages, and is a result of a highly selective process.
The grand celebration of children’s and young adult’s cinema returns this year to the Megaron Athens Concert Hall from the 18th to the 24th of November.
With premiere screenings from around the world, special events and cinematic surprises, this year’s edition also includes school screenings, screenings for the whole family, films with live dubbing, special guests and Q&As with creators.
The 7-day screening showcase is accompanied by filmmaking workshops for kids and teenagers, interactive-tech games and educational activities hosted at the Megaron foyer.

Antonios Tsapatakis was born on the island of Crete, in Chania and now resides in Thessaloniki. He started swimming at the age of 5 and a few years later became a water polo athlete. His life changed in 2006 when a motorcycle accident rendered him quadriplegic; he was only 18 years old. His disability did not put him down the least; it became his driving force in becoming a professional swimmer.
Since 2009, he has received multiple distinctions in both National and International competitions. He is the holder of 29 medals, 23 of which are gold. He started taking place in the Paralympics in 2012, participating in the 50 and 100 m freestyle stroke. Ιn 2019, he participated and came fourth in the International Contest of Para swimming.
His next great ambition is to win the gold medal in the Tokyo Paralympics of 2020.

Dromeas Sports Society was founded in 2015 by the world champion, Haris Papadias. The Society is located in the Municipality of Vari, Voula, Vouliagmeni and is based within the Vari Stadium. Since its establishment, it counts more than 600 members, who partake in all athletic categories.
Every year, well-established athletes who have received national and international awards join the Society. Since 2015, Dromeas participates in all National Championships as such providing the opportunity to its members to be part of Greece’s National Team.
Dromeas utilizes its income to finance its’ athlete’s preparation period as well as their traveling expenses abroad when required.
It is worthy to state that Dromeas was the first athletic society to organize a successful track and field competition in the Municipality of Vari, Voula, Vouliagmeni on the 21 st of December 2015, with more than 100 sports unions registering. Since then, Dromeas organizes many championships on a yearly basis, with “Dromia” being the most anticipated and renowned one to date. This annual event receives global recognition and attracts top athletes from all over the world.

Kyanos Asteras Varis is a football club that was founded back in 1964 and is based in Vari, Attica. Since its establishment, Kyanos Asteras Varis has won over numerous supporters and has brought forward various talented players.
Moreover, the Club creates academies that aim to promote sports edification. The members - athletes are provided with the opportunity to discover the joy of exercising while living up to sportsmanship standards.

Stylianos Papadopoulos is a professional boxer in the welterweight category. His career in Martial Arts began in Nea Peramos of Kavala, where he was born and raised.
In 2009 he won the National Boxing and Kickboxing Championship. In 2010 he won three National Championships in boxing, in various categories. In 2011, he regains the gold medal in Adults Category. In 2012 he served the Greek Army and participated in the Hellenic Armed Forces boxing championship where he won 1st place. From 2009 to 2012 he was a member of the National Team and a member of the Pre-Olympic team in London.
In 2014, he became part of Grigoris Mallios’ team and a year later, after signing his international contract, he moved permanently to Los Angeles. It was during his first fight dated 26/3/2016 in the US that he was pronounced a professional boxing player. After nine victorious fights, he returns to his homeland. In 28/4/2018 he participates in “The Battle 18 ” to compete for the European title, WBU, where he knocks out his opponent and is awarded the “International Champion” title. Holder of this outstanding title, he returns to the ring on April 24th, 2019 at “The Gods of War 12 WLF”, where he again knocks out his opponent on the first round. A few months later, in June, at the Olympic Hall Galatsi where the the first and biggest boxing event in Athens is held by Stoiximan “Friday Fight Night”, gives Stelios yet another tremendous victory, which becomes his 12th in a row.
His next triumph is anticipated to take place during the WBO for the International title.
